WHAT YOU DID & WHAT YOU GOT

When Trent Reznor announced that he would stop touring back in 2005, a small part of us died inside *single tear rolls down cheek*. So when we heard that the NIN mastermind would actually be returning to the stage, and that the tour would include the first Canadian dates the band has played since 2003, we quickly scrambled to put together one of the single greatest NIN prize packs ever.

By submitting some truly creepifying stories of true paranormal encounters, 15 of you walked away with tickets to the NIN tour while one lucky winner also took home a copy of the ultra-rare deluxe boxed set of Ghost I - IV signed by Trent Reznor himself on both CD and Vinyl!

"Quite a number of years ago I was doing what little kids do when they get curious, I was laying in my bed and I rolled over and wondered if something would happen if I knocked on the wall next to my bed, once I had done this I heard a very crunchy and groggy sounding voice speak to me I was horrified by the sound of it. I can't quite remember what exactly this voice said as it still gives me the creeps.

After this strange encounter I felt I had almost been absorbed, ripped right out my skin, an out of body experience you could say. I saw myself an ant sized being, whether I was human or not was unknown all i can tell you is that I am looking up, while i am in this state a black smoke or cloud like entity fills the sky and comes down toward me then having the ability to solidify itself somehow and bring on the feeling that it is crushing me into whatever it was that lied beneath me. I am rather uncertain what is under me because it was such a fast and very vague happening.

With all of this I would assume that I was standing on grass or an earthly ground because I could look to the left and right of me and I can see peace in the air, butterflies and birds....yet as comfortable as this sighting seemed I then saw this darkness that I had come across previously which began consuming all of what I see and I end up feeling empty. I feel like I am falling backwards almost as if I am proceeding down a watering hole looking upward, I also hear a fog horn like sound that seems to originate from this black force. I don't know why this happened but it has been lurking within my mind since about as young as I can remember.

I then came to and i was sitting in the same place while all of this was happening, to this day i still question just what that anomaly was and why it seemed to take control of me."
