WHAT YOU DID AND WHAT YOU GOT

Geek chic gods and all 'round funny guys, Weezer, brought their indie noise to Canada and we gave away 5 pairs of tickets to some lucky Vancouver fans!

In their video for "Pork and Beans," Weezer brought together some of the world's biggest YouTube stars to engage in one of the largest and most glorious bouts of self-deprecating humor in history -– and it made us wonder... who is the greatest YouTube star? All you had to do was show us your favorite YouTube video and tell us why you think its makers should be crowned king of the YouTube stars to score the tickets.

I believe that the best Youtube video has to be "Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick Astly. Yes, this isn't technically a "youtube" video. It's a professionally made music video. But it's actually more then just a music video, its a pop culture phenomenon.
Being released in 1987, it soared to number 1 in many countries, including the US, New Zealand, and all across the UK. It was a hit to teens and parents everywhere. In addition, due to its catchy lyrics and upbeat tempo, it's probably one of the greatest hits in the 80s; if not one of the greatest of all time.
It also spawned a notorious internet prank called "Rick Rolling", where somebody provides you with a link that is supposed to be relevant to their topic, only to be surprised by Rick Astly video. It was so popular that even YOUTUBE themselves did it on April Fools 08, where all the featured videos for that day were hyperlinked to Rick's video.
So why do I think he's youtubes greatest star? Firstly, he sang a quiet memorable tune, practically everyone knows who he is or knows his song, and isn't he famous enough that even Youtube itself used his video? Plus he dance like theres no tomorrow.

Unforgivable. The unforgivable video's transcend race, age, and gender. If you don't find this to be the most hilarious thing on youtube you are dead. They are video's where everyone can forget there worries and strife and laugh about this guys and his "nigga bovice". Not only the kings of youtube, but the kings of all thing side-splittingly funny.

Nexopia??

I'd say Nick Patera because he is obviously talented in many ways. He has an amazing voice, high and low. Nick volunteers with kids teaching vocal classes. Nick Patera FTW!
