Using Nexopia Plus

| Plus Features | |
| Profile Skins | Give your profile that extra bit of flair by customizing the colours. |

To create your very own profile skin, click on the profile tab on your top toolbar.
Then scroll down to Profile Skin, and click on the Create Your Own link. Next click on create new skin. From there you can name your new skin, and select colours for your background, text, links, etc. To see what each item changes on a page, click the test button at the bottom of the page. Once you’re done your skin click the add button. | |
| Recent Visitors List | See who has visited your profile. |

With Plus, you get to see who has viewed your profile (excluding Plus members who opt to be anonymous and guests.)
To access this feature, click on the Recent Visitors link on your top toolbar. From there you can see the users who have viewed your profile, and you have the ability to view their profiles in return. If you see an anonymous user on your recent visitors page, it simply means that it’s either a plus user who has decided to keep anonymous or a guest. The option of whether you would like your page to be anonymous or not can be changed in your Preferences under the Profile section. | |
| Fewer Ads | Choose to disable most advertising on the site. |

To disable ads you need to visit your Preferences page and check off "Show fewer ads".
This is found under the General section of your Preferences. | |
| Frame-Less Skins | Use the site without frames by selecting the Frame-Less version of that skin. |

With Plus, you can choose between frames and frameless skins.
The difference between frames and frameless skins are as follows: With frames selected the site header and top toolbar stay put as you scroll down a page. With frameless selected the site header and top toolbar move while you scroll down a page. In order to change this feature, click Preferences in your top toolbar. Scroll down to General. And then select the skin you want in frames or no frames. | |
| See Common Friends | When visiting someone’s profile, your friends in common are bolded. |
| When you have Plus and visit another person’s profile, mutual friends appear in bold on the left hand side of their page and the number of shared friends also appears in the basics section of their page. | |
| Extra Friends | Four times the amount of friends you can add. |

With Plus your friends list allows up to 1000 people on your friends list instead of 250.
If you have over 250 friends after your Plus runs out, you will not be able to add anymore until the amount goes back to under 250. | |
| Longer Profile Sections | Double the amount of stuff you can put in your profile. |
|
With Plus, you are able to put 20,000 characters into your About Me, Likes, and Dislikes sections of your Profile.
All you have to do is type! Please note: When your Plus expires you will not be able to add more to your profile until it is under 20,000 characters. | |
| Extra Profile Pics | Upload 12 pictures to your profile (instead of 8). |

With Plus you can have up to 12 profile pictures instead of the usual 8, just upload more.
Please remember that your sign picture does not count against the 12 allotted pictures, so you may end up with 13. | |
| Priority Picture Approval | Your pictures get moderated before everybody else. |
| As a Plus member your pictures are places first in the Pic Mod queue so that they get approved before normal users. | |
| Enhanced Photo Gallery | 50 times more pictures; no tag option; larger picture resolution. |

Without Plus, users are allowed to have 20 gallery pictures, resized to 640x480, and a maximum total of 2mb per image.
With Plus, users are allowed up to 1000 pictures, with sizes up to 1600x1200. They can also choose to not have Nexopia tags placed on their pictures. Please note: If you do not put tags on your pictures, other users will be able to take your pictures and upload them themselves. For information on how to use the gallery, click here. | |
| Spotlight | A random Plus user is spotlighted every minute on the front page. |

This option can be turned on or off in your Preferences under the Profile section.
Spotlight is random just like winning the lottery. There are thousands of Plus users so not everyone will be spotlighted right away. | |
| Visit Anonymously | View other people's profiles without them knowing you were there. |
|
With Plus you have the option of viewing other plus members profiles anonymously. You can choose one of three options: To allow anybody to see that you’ve visited their profile, to let only your friends see if you’ve visited their profile, and to let nobody see if you’ve visited their profile.
To do this, click on the preferences tab on the top toolbar. From there, scroll down to Profile and choose the option you prefer in the "Allow plus members to see that you visited their profile" section. Once you have selected what you want, click on the update preferences button and you’re done. | |
| File Uploads and Hosting | Upload up to 10MB of files for storage. |

With Plus you can upload files, images, etc, for use on the web. You’re allowed to host up to 10MB with a maximum of 1MB per upload.
In order to use this feature you must first click on the Files link on your top toolbar. From there you can create files, or upload pictures for your own reference. The Quota sections tells you how much space you have remaining. | |
| Message Status | See whether a message you sent has been read. |

With Plus you are able to view the status of your sent messages.
To see if somebody has received your message, click on the Messages link in the top right corner of your screen. Next, click on the Sent Items link just below your top toolbar. Any messages that you see in bold are items that have not been read. Any messages that you see in normal text are messages that the other user has read. If the other user has their messages forwarded to their email address, however, they can read your message without it showing. | |
| Multiple Message | You can send the same message to several mutual friends at once. |

Click 'Write a message', then click 'Send to multiple friends'.
To select all eligible friends click the first name and drag the mouse all the way down. To select some names hold the Ctrl key while selecting as many names as you want. Clicking a name a second time unselects it. | |
| Hide Profile Hits | With Plus you can hide the number of hits to your profile. |

In order to do this, click on the ‘Preferences’ link on your top toolbar.
Scroll down to the ‘Profile’ section. Check the box that says ‘Hide Hits on your Profile’, and click the update preferences button. | |
| Custom Forum Rank | Customize the text that appears below your username in the Forums. |
|
To create your custom forum rank, click ‘Profile’ in the top toolbar.
Next, click on ‘Forums’. At the bottom of the page there is a menu for forum ranks. Type in your desired forum rank. Note: Anything that is offensive, or implies more site powers than you have will be removed at the discretion of the moderators. When you’re finished, your new forum rank will appear here. | |
| Create a User Forum | Create your own User Forum and control who gets to be a part of it. |

Each Plus member is able to create one user forum. You may own more than one but you can only create one.
